Nicole Salazar

Nicole Salazar has a varied work experience, starting in 2010 as a Group Leader at NSA After School Program. In 2012, they worked as an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist at the New Settlement Community Center, and as a Private Tutor. Nicole then took on the role of Administrative Assistant at the New Settlement Apartments Community Center, and Children's Editorial Intern at Penguin Group USA. In 2014, they were an Editorial Intern at Sourcebooks, and in 2015 they worked as a Commissioning Editor, Development Editor, Senior Editorial Assistant at Taylor & Francis Group, a Consultant at New Settlement After School At MECA, and a Guest Service Representative at Asphalt Green. Currently, Nicole is a Contract Manager at Vistar Media.

Nicole Salazar began their educational journey in 2009 at the University of New Haven. Nicole then transferred to City University of New York-Hunter College in 2010, where they earned their BA in English Literature, Language and Criticism in 2013. Nicole then went on to pursue a Masters of Liberal in Childhood and Youth Studies at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, which they completed in 2020.
