Ammar Zafar

Ammar Zafar is an experienced Product Owner currently working at WirelessCar - Volkswagen Group since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ammar served as Product Owner for Assistance Services at Volvo Cars, managing features related to emergency services and roadside assistance from both vehicles and mobile applications. Ammar's tenure at Volvo also included positions as Scrum Master and Feature Team Leader within the Telematics & Connectivity areas, where key responsibilities included leading feature teams, planning activities in Jira, and liaising with suppliers. Earlier experience includes consultancy roles at Sigma Technology AB for Ericsson, as well as positions at Ericsson and Huawei focusing on network operations and integration. Ammar holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Wireless Networks and Electronics from Linköping University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
