Brian Shin

Brian Shin is an experienced associate scientist with a strong background in analytical chemistry and protein development. Currently employed at Visterra Inc. since September 2020, Brian previously held roles at Mersana Therapeutics as a senior associate and at ImmunoGen, Inc. as a development associate II. Brian's expertise includes testing preclinical samples for pharmacokinetic evaluations and operating various analytical instruments such as HPLC-MS and Capillary Electrophoresis. Additional experience spans positions at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Harvard Medical School, and Columbia University, contributing significantly to clinical protein drug development and organometallic research. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Northeastern University.
