Andrew Mountain

Andrew Mountain is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, portfolio optimization, and business analysis within the energy sector. Since July 2011, Andrew has held various leadership roles at Vistra Energy, currently serving as Senior Director of Strategic Planning and Portfolio Optimization, where responsibilities include developing business strategies and assessing opportunities to enhance profitability. Previous positions at Vistra include leading strategy implementation and overseeing customer retention efforts. Andrew also has a background in analytical reporting and project management. Prior experience includes serving as a Cabinet Liaison Staff Assistant at The White House and as a Legislative Correspondent for the United States Senate. Andrew holds an MBA in Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
