Daniela Gutierrez

Daniela Gutierrez is currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate Securities & Finance and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Vistra Corp. since October 2023. Previously, Daniela worked as an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from March 2019 to October 2023 and at Vinson & Elkins from September 2016 to March 2019, where the practice focused on representing borrowers, commercial banks, private equity firms, and financial institutions in various commercial lending transactions. Daniela began the legal career at Vinson & Elkins, where roles included Summer Associate positions in 2014 and 2015, and also gained experience as an Intern at the Office of George W. Bush in 2012. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School (2016) and a dual Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Methodist University (2013). Early education was completed at Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Lima, Peru.
