David Mitchell

David Mitchell is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in environmental law. Since June 2018, David has served as Managing Counsel, Environmental at Vistra Corp., following a tenure as Senior Counsel in the same practice. Prior to joining Vistra Corp., David was a Partner at Balch & Bingham LLP from September 2009 to June 2018, where involvement included work as an Associate in the Environmental and Natural Resources practice group. David holds a Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Earth and Environmental Science and Political Science from Furman University.
