Steven Phelps

Steven Phelps is a seasoned graphic design professional with extensive experience in corporate communication and academic instruction. Currently serving as a Senior Graphic Designer at Vistra Corp. since June 2014, Steven leads design initiatives for corporate communication and community affairs, overseeing graphic design, UX/UI consulting, video and print production, and visual brand identity. Concurrently, Steven has been an Adjunct Faculty member at Collin College since 2005, focusing on curriculum design for graphic design courses. Prior to these roles, Steven worked as a Web Content Manager and Art Director at Cowboys & Indians Magazine from 2006 to 2014, managing editorial workflows, ecommerce, and design production. Earlier in career, as Photography Editor at ALM from 2000 to 2006, responsibilities included design and layout for various publications in the legal field. Steven holds a Master of Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University and multiple degrees in Graphic Design and Arts & Humanities from The Art Institutes and The University of Texas system.
