Matt Smith

Matt Smith is an experienced professional in strategic land development, currently serving as Associate Director and previously as Senior Development Manager at Vistry Group since November 2022. Smith has played a pivotal role in overseeing planning and infrastructure delivery on large-scale strategic land schemes, particularly following the merger of the Countryside Strategic Land Team with Vistry Strategic Land. Prior to Vistry, Smith worked at Countryside from November 2012 to November 2022, where responsibilities included managing development teams, ensuring projects remained on schedule and within budget, and providing design and delivery support for strategic infrastructure initiatives. Smith holds a Master of Science in Real Estate from University College of Estate Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Winchester.
