Martha McDonald has had extensive experience in various professional roles across different companies. Martha has worked as a Teaching Artist at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, a Principal at Field Forums, a Special Projects Manager at InvestmentNews, an Adjunct Faculty at the Center for Contemporary Art, and a Manager for B2B eNewsletters at WPI Communications, Inc. Visual Arts Center of New Jersey

The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey was recently designated a "Major Arts Institution"​ by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. This non-profit, regional art center features both a professionally recognized art school and a critically acclaimed exhibition program. With nine state-of-the-art studios, the art school is taught by an award-winning faculty. Facilities also include a two-story exhibition gallery, two strolling galleries, a digital media studio, and a sculpture park. Educational programing includes Outreach programs, Docent tours, Exhibition programs, Teachers'​ Symposiums, Kids and Teens Art Camps and much more.
