Luis Alfonso has a diverse range of work experience. Luis started their career at AMC Theatres, where they worked as a Projectionist and Event Coordinator from 2008 to 2012. In this role, they were responsible for managing professional film and projector equipment, building film prints, and programming digital projectors.
From 2012 onwards, Luis joined Apple and held various positions. Luis began as a Family Room Specialist and later transitioned to become a Technical Specialist. In these roles, they provided technical support to customers by troubleshooting Apple products and accessories via phone, chat, and email.
Luis then became a Creative Pro, where they coordinated onboarding and training for new hires, assisted with recruitment efforts, and developed training materials for retail employees.
Subsequently, Luis served as a Technical Expert, where they continued to provide technical support to Apple customers.
Later, they took on a role as a Retail Product Support Specialist, being part of the initial team during the rollout. In this position, they remotely assisted customers and businesses in the United States and Canada by providing personalized solutions for both technical support and sales teams.
Lastly, Luis worked as an AppleCare Remote Technical Support representative, specializing in MacOS and iOS. Luis provided technical assistance to customers while troubleshooting both Apple software and hardware. Luis also collaborated with cellular carriers to support affected customers and enterprises.
More recently, Luis joined Visual Lease as a Support Engineer in 2022. In this role, they ensure top-notch customer service and product expertise by responding to, managing, and resolving technical inquiries from clients. Luis supports the company's SaaS offerings and communicates with clients through various channels such as email, phone, and virtual calls.
Luis Alfonso attended St Mary of The Assumption High School from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a focus on Computer Science. In addition to their high school education, Luis pursued further certifications. In August 2012, they obtained the Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) certification from Apple. Subsequently, Luis obtained the Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification in June 2019.
