Yura Stefanov

Yura Stefanov has worked in the science industry since 2009. Yura started as a Postdoctoral fellow at EIMB, where they worked until 2017. In 2017, they moved to Visual Science Company, where they currently serve as the Chief Science Officer.

Yura Stefanov began their education in 1991 at School 45. Yura then attended Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Specialist degree in Molecular Genetics. Yura continued their education at the Enghelgardt Institute of Molecular Biology from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology. In addition to their formal education, Yura Stefanov has obtained four certifications from Coursera and edX, including How Viruses Cause Disease, SPU27x, Science & Cooking: From Haute Cuisine to Soft Matter Science, Virology I: How Viruses Work, and Computational Molecular Evolution.
