Jim Robles

Jim Robles is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in electronic packaging and systems architecture, serving as a retired Boeing Senior Technical Fellow with over thirty years in both commercial and military avionics. Jim is celebrated as one of the first four inductees into the VITA Hall of Fame, recognizing contributions to open standards for embedded systems. Jim's leadership roles include directorships at Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho, the Walla Walla Sustainable Living Center, and the Washington Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty. Jim is currently an aspiring philosophy student, focusing on the philosophy of mind informed by cognitive sciences, and holds advanced degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and completed the Boeing Executive Management Program.
