Julie Lazart

Julie Lazart has extensive experience in captioning and education, currently serving as a Realtime Voice Captioner at VITAC since May 2015, providing real-time closed captioning for various events using voice recognition software. With over 28 years as an English and Voice Writing Instructor at the College of Court Reporting Inc, Julie has contributed to the training of students for careers as court reporters and captioners. Past roles include serving as the owner of Proof Positive, where proofreading and editing court documents were primary responsibilities, and as a Sales Representative at John Lazart and Associates, overseeing high-end audio equipment operations. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in English from Indiana University Bloomington and a certificate in Voice Captioning from the College of Court Reporting Inc.
