Marie Veselá

Marie Veselá began their career in 2012 as a Research Consultant (Engineering) at REED. In 2013 they embarked on a Work and Travel experience in the USA, working as a Waitress in a famous Italian restaurant in California. In 2014 they joined Euro Pool System as an HR Assistant, later becoming a Regional HR Coordinator CEE. In 2021 they moved to IKEA as People & Culture. Currently, they are the Head of People Operations at Vitadio, a unique start-up software company, where they are building the HR department from scratch with the goal to help thousands of people on their way to overcoming diabetes with a personal companion.

Marie Veselá obtained a Bachelor's degree in Adult Education with Specialization in Personnel Management from Jan Amos Komensky University Prague Ltd. in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Certified Specialist degree, DiS. from College of Economic Studies, VOŠES Prague in 2011, with a field of study in Personnel Management. Additionally, they obtained a Coach Training Program accredited by ICF (International Coach Federation) from QED GROUP a.s. in February 2020.
