Steve H. Beg

Steve H. Beg is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors, currently serving as the Production Manager at Vital Bio since March 2024 and as a Consultant at HSB Biotech Consulting Corp., focusing on process design for the commercial manufacture of biological products. Previously, Steve held a significant role at Resilience as Manager of Upstream Processing, contributing to the design of a state-of-the-art biotech manufacturing facility. Steve's experience also includes leadership in process improvement at Evolve Biologics and Sanofi Pasteur, where responsibilities ranged from equipment design and scheduling to troubleshooting and product improvements in the manufacturing of biological products. Steve's academic foundation includes a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Toronto, complemented by prior research experience in diagnostic assay development at Amorfix Life Sciences and a solid background in protein research at Cangene Corp.
