Vitali Borisenko

Vitali Borisenko is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in research and project management within the fields of biological and chemical physics. As a Principal Scientist at Vital Bio since December 2019, Vitali has focused on advancing scientific knowledge and technology application. Prior to this, Vitali served as a Senior Research Associate and Project Manager at the Impact Centre at the University of Toronto from May 2011 to December 2019, overseeing multiple collaborative projects involving academia, industry, and government agencies, while specializing in lab-on-a-chip device development. Vitali's earlier roles include Senior Scientist at Axela Inc., where significant contributions were made to the development of innovative sensors and immunoassay methods. With a Ph.D. and Master's degree from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Vitali possesses a strong academic foundation complemented by practical research experience at several prestigious institutions.
