Iain Smith

Iain Smith is a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator with over 25 years in the industry, currently holding a position at Vital Energi Utilities Limited since June 2024. Iain has a solid background in mechanical estimation, having previously worked at Emtec Group, SPIE UK, NGBailey, Norstead, and Balfour Kilpatrick. Responsibilities have included managing the estimation process for tenders valued up to £25 million, as well as developing estimating departments and databases. Iain's educational qualifications include an HNC and ONC in Heating, Air Conditioning, and Ventilation HVAC from North Glasgow College.
