David Tackett

David Tackett is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in production engineering and technical advisory roles. Currently serving as a Production Engineering Technical Advisor at Laredo Petroleum, Inc. since December 2013, David supports Project Facility Group Engineers through production data gathering and Project AFE preparation and tracking. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Technician at Samson, where responsibilities encompassed managing fleet and rental compression, as well as providing engineering support for facility operations. David also held positions at Comstock Resources and MCI Worldcom, contributing to engineering analysis and Unix system administration. Earlier in David's career, significant expertise was gained at Arco Oil & Gas, working as a Senior Engineering Technician and Measurement Specialist. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology/Technician from Northeastern State University, earned between 1979 and 1982.
