Nathan Morrison

Nathan Morrison, MBA, has extensive experience in business development within the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Vital Energy since January 2020. Responsibilities include establishing growth opportunities, directing corporate M&A activities, and building strategic industry relationships. Previously, at QEP Resources, Nathan managed upstream and midstream acquisitions and divestitures, while at Dorado E&P Partners, LLC, Nathan oversaw asset evaluations and negotiations under volatile market conditions. A significant portion of Nathan's career was spent at Chesapeake Energy, where considerable achievements included managing transactions exceeding $2.5 billion and leading a team in acquisitions and divestitures. Nathan holds an MBA from Colorado State University and a BBA in Economics.
