Carlos Salazar

Carlos Salazar currently serves as Finance Vice President - FP&A at Vital Farms, starting in May 2024. Previously, from January 2012 to May 2024, Carlos held various senior finance positions at PepsiCo, including Finance Senior Director for Retail and Supply Chain, as well as Finance Director for Central and South America. Responsibilities included leading FP&A teams, managing CAPEX investments, strategic planning, and overseeing operating cash flow for multiple regions. Carlos began their career at Caterpillar Inc. as a Sourcing Strategy Manager and Process Control Consultant, focusing on global sourcing strategies and process improvements. Carlos holds an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
