Jared Stead

Jared Stead currently serves as Sr. Manager of Category Management at Vital Farms since February 2023. Prior to this role, Jared held various positions at The Hershey Company, including Omni Strategist Category Advisor for Walmart & Sam’s Club and Category Management Consultant for Dollar General, from April 2018 to February 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as Manager of Strategy and Supplier Collaboration and Assistant Buyer for Food & Beverage E-Commerce at Sam's Club from May 2015 to April 2018, as well as a Category Management Intern at The Hershey Company from March 2014 to May 2015. Jared’s expertise encompasses developing category management programs, conducting data analysis, and strategic planning across multiple retail environments. Jared earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Arkansas in 2015.
