Julie Rwan

Julie Rwan is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as a Senior Technical Advisor at Vital Strategies, where responsibilities include leading project oversight in Michigan and New Mexico for the Bloomberg Philanthropies Overdose Prevention Initiative with a focus on racial equity and systemic change in various sectors. Concurrently, Julie Rwan is a Senior Manager and Adjunct Professor at Long Island University, specializing in Health Program Planning. Previous roles include Capacity Building Assistance Program Manager at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, where tailored assistance for health departments and organizations was provided, and experience as an Intervention Specialist, Project Officer, Research Assistant, Program Coordinator, and Health Promotions staff across various organizations.
