Vice President, Total Rewards & HR Systems at Vitalant

Beth Sweeley, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has over 25 years of experience in various HR leadership roles. Beth is currently the Vice President of Total Rewards & HR Systems at Vitalant, a national non-profit healthcare organization. In this role, Beth is responsible for developing and implementing Total Rewards programs and initiatives to meet the strategic goals of the enterprise. Prior to their current position, Beth served as the Senior Corporate Director of Total Rewards & HR Systems at Vitalant from 2018 to 2022. Beth also has experience as the Director of Total Rewards & HRIS at the same organization from 2016 to 2018.

Before joining Vitalant, Beth worked at Be The Match/National Marrow Donor Program, where they held the role of Senior Manager of Total Rewards & HRIS and Lead Strategic HR Business Partner from 2006 to 2016. In this position, they were responsible for leading the design and administration of the total rewards program, as well as overseeing HR systems, payroll, and volunteer resources.

Prior to Be The Match, Beth worked as a Human Resources Manager at Graco, Inc. in 2005, and at Corporate Benefit Services of America, Inc. from 1993 to 2005. In these roles, they were involved in various HR management responsibilities.

Beth's extensive experience in total rewards, HR systems, and strategic HR leadership makes their a valuable asset in driving organizational success.

Beth Sweeley, SPHR, SHRM-SCP attended the College of Saint Benedict from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Communications. During the same time period, they also attended Saint John's University, though it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study there. In 2003, they obtained the designation of Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). In 2015, they obtained the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Additionally, they hold an inactive certification as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP).
