Chris Fraker

Chris Fraker has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chris is currently working at Vitalant as a Cyber Security Engineer since October 2022. Previously, they held the position of Information Security Analyst at the same company from January 2020 to November 2022.

Before joining Vitalant, Chris was self-employed and worked as an Information Security Consultant from January 2016 onwards. Chris also served as a Cyber Security Analyst from March 2015 to October 2017, a System Engineer from January 2013 to January 2016, and an Information Technology System Technician from January 2009 to December 2012.

Chris's earliest known role was as a Lead Process Engineer at Reptron Electronics, where they worked from April 2006 to June 2008.

Chris Fraker has a strong educational background in cybersecurity. Chris completed a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management from Purdue University in 2022, following their Bachelor's of Science in Cybersecurity from the same institution in 2021. In addition to their degrees, Chris has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their expertise. These include the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer™ (CDPSE™) from ISACA in January 2023, the Proofpoint Certified Phishing Specialist 2022 from Proofpoint in January 2023, the HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) from (ISC)² in November 2022, the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in October 2022, the Certified Level 1 Duo Administrator from Duo Security in September 2022, the Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in July 2022, the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in July 2022, the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in July 2022, the Cybersecurity Leadership Certification from Proofpoint in June 2022, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in April 2022, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in October 2019, the CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA in January 2019, and the CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in December 2018.
