Melissa Fillio

Melissa Fillio has work experience as a Donor Care Specialist II at Vitalant since October 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Midland Memorial Hospital as a Phlebotomist from September 2013 to April 2015, and as a CNA from November 2011 to April 2015. During their time as a Phlebotomist, they performed venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood samples for laboratory testing, completed paperwork for specimen tubes, and followed all safety rules. As a CNA, they assisted with direct patient care, took basic health measurements, helped patients with self-care tasks, documented interactions with patients, maintained a safe and clean environment, and interacted with patients' families while respecting their privacy and cultural backgrounds.

Melissa Fillio attended Midland College, where they obtained a Phlebotomy Technician Certification (PTC) in September 2013. Melissa also graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, although the specific years of attendance are unknown.
