William Washington has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. William worked as a Laboratory Technician I at Vitalant since March 2019. Previous to their work in education, they were an Aluminum Oxide removal specialist at IMI Components Ltd from 2008 to 2013, focusing on preparing high-grade Aluminum Pipework for Automated Orbital TIG Welding. William started their career in the US Navy, serving as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate (ABE) from June 2004 to June 2008. William'sresponsibilities included the launch and recovery of naval aircraft and maintenance of Arresting Gear Hydraulic systems.

William Washington attended the University of North Texas from 2013 to 2014, where they pursued studies in biochemistry. However, they did not obtain a degree during this period. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2018, they enrolled in the Community College of Denver and successfully earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in chemistry.
