William Washington

William Washington has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. William worked as a Laboratory Technician I at Vitalant since March 2019. Prior to that, they were a VA Work Study at Veteran Services at Community College of Denver from August 2018 to December 2018. William also held the same position at Veteran's Services at Community College of Denver during the same period. From August 2015 to May 2018, William worked as a Student Office Assistant at the Accessibility Center at Community College of Denver. Before that, they were a Peer Mentor at Community College of Denver from December 2014 to April 2015, where they recruited students into the Center for Special Programs and provided individual meetings for the Women Intentional about Success and Excellence program. Previous to their work in education, they were an Aluminum Oxide removal specialist at IMI Components Ltd from 2008 to 2013, focusing on preparing high-grade Aluminum Pipework for Automated Orbital TIG Welding. William started their career in the US Navy, serving as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate (ABE) from June 2004 to June 2008. William'sresponsibilities included the launch and recovery of naval aircraft and maintenance of Arresting Gear Hydraulic systems.

William Washington attended the University of North Texas from 2013 to 2014, where they pursued studies in biochemistry. However, they did not obtain a degree during this period. Subsequently, from 2014 to 2018, they enrolled in the Community College of Denver and successfully earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in chemistry.
