Lalita Meena

Lalita Meena is a Data Scientist with experience in various industries and roles.

Lalita currently works at VitalConnect since November 2022, where they hold the position of Data Scientist.

From August 2021 to November 2022, Lalita worked at Axtria - Ingenious Insights as a Project Lead - Decision Science.

Lalita had a brief stint at HSR.health from May 2021 to August 2021, where they served as a Lead Data Scientist. Prior to that, from January 2021 to May 2021, they worked as a Data Scientist at the same company.

Lalita also has experience in academia, having served as a Graduate Student at the University of Minnesota from June 2019 to May 2021. Additionally, from January 2020 to June 2020, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the university.

Lalita gained industry experience as a Co-op Engineer (Design and Modeling) at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from June 2020 to January 2021.

Lalita started their career as a Data Scientist at Edcil India from April 2016 to May 2018. Here, they performed anomaly detection and executed queries for automating test center allocations.

Before that, from July 2015 to April 2016, they worked as a Data Analyst at flipClass. In this role, they analyzed customer data and developed recommendation systems resulting in a significant increase in new customer subscriptions.

Lalita Meena completed their Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a DD degree in electrical communication & signal processing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which they completed from 2008 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Lalita has obtained several certifications. In July 2022, they received a certification in "Introduction to Machine Learning in Production" from Coursera. In August 2019, they obtained a certification in "Convolutional Neural Networks" from the same institution. In July 2019, Lalita achieved certifications in "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects." Lalita also obtained a certification in "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" in June 2019, all from Coursera.
