Luke Marshall, PhD

Luke Marshall, PhD has a diverse work experience, beginning with a Marketing & Outreach Coordinator role at AmeriCorps VISTA at UCP Texas in 2008. Luke then moved on to a Graduate Research Assistant role at the John B. Goodenough Research Group at the University of Texas in 2009. In 2014, they became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Nanomagnetism Research Group at Northeastern University. In 2016, they took on a Materials Engineering Specialist role at Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, Inc., where they were also the Project Manager and Head of the Energy Storage team and a contributor to the Propulsion and Levitation Systems (MagLev) team. In 2017, they were a Business Development Representative at Global Data Consortium and Founder & CEO at VitalFlo Inc., a predictive and preventative respiratory health company. Finally, in the same year, they became Principal at LGM Consulting.

Luke Marshall, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science & Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Physics & Philosophy (Dual Degree) from Whitman College in 2008. In 2019, they obtained a certification from The Foundation for Effective Leadership at the NextGen Center.
