Laurens van Raay

Laurens van Raay is an experienced electrical engineer currently employed at VitalFluid B.V. since October 2022. Prior to this role, Laurens served as a technical consultant at Ricardo Rail from November 2009 to September 2022, focusing on system engineering for an onboard train protection system and modeling electromechanical components. Additional experience includes work as a diagnostics engineer at Corus, where Laurens analyzed industrial installations for calibration and performance optimization, as well as research roles at Eindhoven University of Technology, specializing in pulsed corona measurements and high voltage pulse charger design. Laurens holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and Avans University of Applied Sciences, respectively.
