Tony Shen

Tony Shen brings more than 20 years of experience in elecommunications, most recently as President and co-Chief Executive Officer of Aastra, a role he held since 2005. In 1996, he co-founded Aastra with Francis Shen, and until 2005 was Aastra’s President and Chief Operating Officer. From 1989 to 1996, Tony was Vice President of Aastra Telecom Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aastra. Prior to his leadership roles at Aastra, Tony spent nine years at Owens Corning Fiberglass Corporation in a variety of positions that spanned engineering and product development to marketing. Under the co-leadership of Tony and Francis Shen, Aastra was recognized as part of the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 in Canada in 1999-2002 as well as in 2006. Tony holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering Physics) granted in 1980 from the University of Toronto (Canada).
