Pierre du Plessis

Pierre Du Plessis has a strong background in actuarial science and data analytics, currently serving as the Growth and Operations Chief of Staff at Vitality since November 2021, where previous roles included R&D Actuary and Data Scientist. Prior to this position, Pierre worked at Discovery Limited from May 2019 to October 2021, holding positions as Actuarial Manager in Health R&D and Actuarial Analyst focusing on Vitality Risk and Analytics. Pierre holds a Bachelor's of Commerce Honours in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor's of Commerce in Actuarial Science, both earned at Stellenbosch University, along with an IEB Grade 12 National Senior Certificate from Somerset College.
