Harald is a healthcare entrepreneur, investor, board director and serial CEO. After obtaining his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Heidelberg University in 1997, he spent over ten years in Big Pharma/Medical Technology at Roche and Johnson & Johnson. From 2009 to 2013 he was CEO of Germany-based Grünenthal Group. In 2014, he was CEO of Sweden-based ArjoHuntleigh. In 2016, he was CEO of Waltham, MA based OvaScience (NASDAQ: OVAS). Harald is currently a board member at Tübingen GER and at Houston, Texas-based Immatics Biotechnologies, a clinical-stage immuno-oncology company. As well, he is a board member at Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Quantum Diamond Technologies, a strategic advisor at ClaimIt! Inc., and he is the co-founder of CognifiSense.
