Agron Ismaili, MD, MBA, FACP, FAAHPM, FASAM, DABPM, CMD has an extensive and diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Agron currently serves as the Senior Medical Director at VITAS Healthcare, where they oversee hospice and palliative care programs and provides education and support to physicians and staff. Agron also holds the role of Regional Medical Director at VITAS Healthcare, where they are involved in leadership and oversight of physicians in delivering quality end-of-life care. Prior to their current position, Dr. Ismaili worked as a Hospitalist at SCP Health and as a Hospitalist Medical Director at HCA Healthcare. Agron received their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Physician Executive MBA from Auburn University Harbert College of Business from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their MD from the University of Sarajevo-Medical College in 1991, specializing in General Medicine. Agron also holds a degree in General Medicine from the University of Prishtina, Medical College where they studied from 1985 to 1990.
