Amber Humphrey has a diverse work experience in various roles. Amber worked as a Market Development Lead for VITAS Healthcare, where they were responsible for strategic planning and market assessment. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Communications Officer for The Quality of Life Plus -QL+ Program, where they managed strategic communication campaigns and program development. Amber also worked as the Project HERO Eastern Region Manager, overseeing a cycling-based program and securing grants for program expansion. In addition, they gained experience as a Staff Attorney at the Christian County Circuit Court, where they drafted judicial opinions, conducted legal research, and wrote exam questions.
Amber Humphrey holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Northern Kentucky University, specifically from Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Prior to their law degree, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from Xavier University. In addition to their educational background, they have also obtained several certifications, including "On Becoming a Moral Leader" from LinkedIn (obtained in 2016), "FIT School, Level 2" from Specialized Bicycle Components (obtained in 2014), "Family Law Mediator" from the Commonwealth of Kentucky (obtained in 2007), and a law license from the Kentucky Bar Association (obtained in 1996).
