Matthew Arend is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in health care law, regulatory compliance, HIPAA and data privacy, and commercial litigation. Currently serving as Senior Counsel at VITAS Healthcare since March 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Partner at Frost Brown Todd until March 2023, and at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP from 2005 to 2021. Additionally, Matthew contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member in Health Law & Policy at both Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati. Matthew holds a Juris Doctor degree from Notre Dame Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.
