Irene Appelholm

Irene Appelholm currently serves as Deputy CEO at Vitec Energy, leading IT operations and security strategy for a company specializing in SaaS forecasting solutions for energy trading. Irene possesses extensive experience in personnel management and project execution, previously holding the roles of Prognoschef/konsultchef and Forecasting specialist within the same company. In addition to corporate responsibilities, Irene contributes to the Montessoriskolan Skäret as a board member and treasurer, overseeing financial processes for a parent cooperative. Irene has also provided advisory support to the startup VoiceHer through DAYA and has experience in energy market analysis from positions at Göteborg Energi and Triventus Consulting AB. Irene holds an Executive MBA from the University of Gothenburg and a Master of Science in Physics from Uppsala University.
