Mark O'Brien

Mark O'Brien has extensive work experience in various financial and strategic roles. Mark currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Vitesse PSP Limited since September 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Data Officer at Worldpay Inc from May 2018 to July 2019.

From 2011 to 2018, Mark worked at Worldpay, starting as the Data Transformation Officer where they established a specialized team of 110 members to enhance data capabilities and drive value from data exploitation. Mark also built a large scale production Enterprise Data Platform utilizing Hadoop, Spark Streaming, Kafka, and other Big Data Technologies. Later, they became the CFO of Worldpay's eCommerce division, overseeing significant revenue growth from £0.4 million to £1 billion during their four-year tenure.

Before their time at Worldpay, Mark served as the CFO at Envoy Services Ltd, a regulated payments provider, from September 2010 to September 2011. Mark also had an interim CFO role at Caplin Systems from July 2010 to October 2010.

Earlier in their career, Mark held the positions of CFO/COO at iome from May 2008 to May 2010 and CFO at Sonaptic from May 2005 to November 2007. Mark also worked as an Investment Manager at Orange Ventures from April 2000 to June 2004 and as a Strategic Planning Consultant at Orange International from November 1998 to April 2000. Mark started their career as a Business Planning Analyst at Orange UK from June 1997 to November 1998.
