Teun Hoevenaars

Teun Hoevenaars is a Systems Engineer at Vitestro since August 2020, with a background in algorithm development and motion control engineering. Previously, Teun served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lund University, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of the open-source protein modeling suite Rosetta. Prior experience includes motion control engineering at Ampelmann Operations, where Teun contributed to R&D projects aimed at advancing the company's product offerings. Teun earned a PhD at TU Delft, developing a novel stiffness analysis method for robotic mechanisms, and was a Program Officer for the SpaceTech program, aiding in the financial and logistical organization of an international Master's Degree initiative. Academic credentials include an MSc in Space Systems Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an MSc in Technical Management & Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
