Keyvan Khataian

Keyvan Khataian is an experienced operations professional specializing in the oil and gas sector, with a career spanning over 16 years. Currently, Keyvan serves as the Regional Head of Operations for the Middle East and Africa at Vitol, overseeing various roles related to distillates, aviation, and LPG operations. Prior to Vitol, Keyvan worked at LITASCO SA as a Senior Trading Operator, where responsibilities included managing Middle Distillates cargo operations and a secondment to Iraq Petroleum Trading, focusing on crude and gasoline operations. Keyvan’s earlier experience includes positions at Noble Group and Glencore, where expertise in trading operations for middle distillates was developed. Keyvan holds a degree from Brunel University London, completed in 2007.
