Friederike Aprea has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades in various roles and industries. Friederike is currently the VP Marketing and Business Development at Vitra Health, where they are responsible for redesigning all marketing assets and developing content to engage existing clients. Prior to this, they served as the Marketing Director at Spartan, where they successfully launched the inclusive Spartan DEKA brand and expanded content reach through influencer-based marketing tactics. Friederike also grew the audience by creating accessible fitness challenges for entry-level gym members. Before that, Friederike held the position of VP Marketing Strategy and Business Development at WebExercises.com. Friederike also has experience working at Reebok as the VP Fitness Community Management, where they developed and implemented an international strategy to engage fitness professionals as influencers for the brand. Additionally, they have held roles at the adidas group, BMW, and Siemens AG, where they gained experience in e-commerce, brand management, and marketing strategy. Friederike started their career as a Management Consultant at Siemens AG.
Friederike Aprea obtained a Diplom degree in Wirtschaftsjapanologie from HSB Hochschule Bremen – City University of Applied Sciences in the period from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Precision Nutrition Coach from Precision Nutrition in 2020 and Certified Personal Trainer from American Council on Exercise (ACE Fitness) in February 2016. Friederike also holds certifications in Behavior Change Specialization (BCS) and Corrective Exercise Specialization (CES) from National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
