Tawny Neal Qureshi

Tawny Neal Qureshi is a Scientist at Vitra Labs with a background in molecular biology techniques. With previous experience at companies such as Tenaya Therapeutics and Adverum Biotechnologies, Tawny has worked on developing optimized AAV viral vectors and ex vivo gene therapy techniques for muscular dystrophies. At Stanford University School of Medicine, Tawny focused on developing delivery methods in animal models of muscular dystrophy. As a CIRM Bridges Scholar at California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Tawny developed iPSC lines via phage integrase technology. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Humboldt State University, Tawny has a strong foundation in cellular and molecular biology.
