Gaurav Goel

Gaurav Goel has over 16 years of work experience in various roles, specializing in data warehousing, analytics, and software development. Gaurav started their career as a Software Engineer at Satyam Computer Services Ltd. in 2004, where they worked on business objects and PL/SQL development projects for GE Oil Gas MRP BOM Reporting. Gaurav then joined Royal Bank of Scotland in 2007 as a Software Designer. In 2010, Gaurav joined Oracle as a Principal Consultant, where they led multiple projects and implemented Oracle's Clinical Development Analytics solution for major US-based CRO's and Drug companies. Since 2014, they have been working at Vitrana as a Data Warehousing Architect, focusing on developing and implementing modules on the HiLIT platform for the healthcare and life sciences domain. Gaurav has extensive experience in team management, data modeling, ETL development, and business intelligence tools such as OBIEE and Cognos.

Gaurav Goel earned a Master's Degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani in 2014. Gaurav also holds a B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, which they obtained from an undisclosed institution between 2000 and 2004. In addition to their formal education, Gaurav has obtained several certifications including "Health Informatics in the Cloud" and "Computing for Data Analysis" from Coursera, "HL7 Fundamentals" from HL7 India, and "Informatica Certified Developer" from Informatica. Gaurav also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research and a Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmacovigilance from CLINIMINDS, though the year of acquisition is unknown for these diplomas.
