Joe Spencer

Joe Spencer has a diverse work experience in the particle engineering and nanotechnology field. Joe is currently the Head of Particle Engineering at VitriVax, where they lead the development of the ALTA technology platform for vaccines. This platform aims to protect vaccine ingredients and simplify their administration. Prior to this role, Joe served as the Vice President of Operations at Forge Nano, Inc. from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they held multiple positions at ALD NanoSolutions, Inc., including Vice President of Engineering and Director of Operations/Process Design Engineer. Joe'scareer began at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where they worked as a Research Assistant and then as a Professional Research Assistant in the Weimer Lab.

Joe Spencer completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1999 to 2003. Joe then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree (MS) in Chemical Engineering from the same university from 2003 to 2004.
