Jim Musick

Jim Musick has extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Jim began their career in 1973 as an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine, where they developed scientific curricula and presented courses in synaptic transmission, neuroendocrinology and mechanisms of long-term neuronal regulation. Jim also trained graduate students in dissertation and career development and conducted research in neuroscience in long-term regulation of synaptic transmission and neuropharmacology of Conus geographus peptide toxins. In 1984, they joined UltraPure Laboratories, Inc. as Director of Research & Development, where they developed procedures for the commercial production of purified human pituitary hormones including, prolactin, growth hormone and TSH, as well as QA/QC procedures to support commercial distribution. In 1988, they joined Vitro Biopharma as Chief Scientific Officer, President & CEO, and Director of R&D, Production superior & COO.

Jim Musick has a diverse educational background. Jim completed an Executive Program at the JJ Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 1998. From 1969 to 1975, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Biology with a Neuroscience Specialty from Northwestern University. Jim also obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Northwestern University between 1968 and 1975.
