Aminé June

Aminé June is an AI Software Engineer at VIVA AI since July 2024, focusing on the development of real-time conversational AI agents and a full-stack web platform for dental practices using React. Previously, Aminé served as a Graduate Student Researcher at SFU School of Interactive Arts & Technology from September 2021 to September 2023, where evaluative work on text-to-image generative AI models for sociopolitical visual arts was conducted. As a Deep Learning Engineering Intern at NVIDIA, Aminé investigated CLIP's embedding space for image style transfer, while at the Advanced Technologies Lab at FANAP, project management of a smart mirror application and oversight of an Agile/Scrum team took place. Early career experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in deep reinforcement learning models. Aminé holds a Master of Science in Interactive Arts and Technology from SFU and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
