Stuart Nicol

Stuart Nicol has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Stuart started their career as a Lawyer at Hunt & Hunt Lawyers from January 2001 to December 2003. After that, they joined Viva Energy Australia (formerly The Shell Company of Australia) as a Senior Legal Counsel from January 2004 to January 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at nbn™ Australia, specializing in technology, network operations, and security. Stuart also worked as a Translator (Chinese to English) on a freelance/contract basis from July 2018 to March 2019. Stuart then returned to Viva Energy Australia as the Head of Legal from November 2019 to March 2021, and subsequently became the Head of Legal and Internal Audit from April 2021 to the present.

Stuart Nicol obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Monash University, which they attended from 1995 to 2000. Stuart further pursued a Master of Translation in Chinese at the University of Melbourne from 2017 to 2018. Prior to their university education, Stuart attended Melbourne Grammar School from 1989 to 1994.
