David Poarch

David Poarch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health insurance fraud investigation. Currently serving as a Fraud Waste and Abuse Investigative Analyst at VIVA HEALTH since May 2018, David returned from retirement to leverage expertise in combating health insurance fraud. Previous roles include Senior Investigator/Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, where David worked from April 2011 to March 2017, and Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the U.S. Postal Service Office of Inspector General from June 2002 to April 2011. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Auburn University at Montgomery and has also pursued education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Erwin High.
