Rob Stait has a long and varied work history beginning in 1996 with a role as a Studio Management Team at the BBC. In 1997 they moved to Severn Trent as a Marketing Executive, and then to Aseriti in 2000 as a Creative Manager. In 2004, they took on a role as Marketing Manager at SCC, and then in 2006 they became the Head of Business Development and Marketing at Echo Managed Services, where they also took on the role of Head of Marketing & Communication. In 2014, they moved to ENSEK as Sales and Marketing Director, then to Capita IT Professional Services in 2015 in the same role. In 2018, they moved to Glyde Parking & Traffic Solutions as Sales and Marketing Director, then to AppyWay in 2019 as Chief Commercial Officer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined VivaCity as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In each role, they were responsible for sales and marketing teams and global growth strategies, developing marketing strategies, product strategies, and campaigns, as well as managing teams and leading business growth.

Rob Stait attended the University of Bedfordshire from 1993 to 1996 and earned a 2:1 BA Hons in Media Practices, which included studies in media, semiotics, film and photography. Prior to this, they attended King Edward VI Aston from 1985 to 1993.
