Mark Mies

Mark Mies is an experienced communication and IT manager, currently serving as Manager Communicatie & IT and Strategisch Communicatieadviseur at Vivantes Zorggroep (Ouderenzorg) since April 2017. Previously, Mark held roles as a communication advisor and served on the board of Stichting Popmuziek Limburg from 2008 to December 2016, contributing to various music initiatives in the province. As the founder and owner of buro 046 until January 2017, Mark focused on leveraging expertise in communication after transferring ownership. Additional experiences include strategic planning for Poppodium Sittard-Geleen, team leadership in local football, volunteering for Stichting Mama's Pride, and involvement in campaign efforts for GroenLinks. Mark holds a Master of Science in Organisational Science from Tilburg University and completed advanced professional training in strategic communication at Van der Hilst Communicatie.
