Gavin Wong

Gavin F. served as the Telemetry & Embedded Systems Team Leader for SunSPEC 6 during the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in October 2019, overseeing a hybrid team and ensuring the accurate transmission of vehicle data while maintaining compliance with safety protocols and competition standards. Prior to this role, Gavin also held the position of Telemetry & Embedded Systems Team Leader at Singapore Polytechnic from April 2018 to September 2019, where responsibilities included the development of a wireless telemetry system and a graphical user interface for SunSPEC 6, along with enhancing features for the transition from SunSPEC 5. Additionally, Gavin engineered a LoRa-based telemetry system for long-range data transmission, facilitating real-time monitoring for the solar-powered vehicle.
